Leon Meschede (*1999 Halle Saale) is a German video artist and essayist, whose work explores the intersections of history, technology, and social change. His projects delve into the legacy of East Germany, ecological crises, and the transformation of public spaces. A pivotal moment came when he discovered the works of Chris Marker, inspiring him to use the Essayfilm as a tool for intellectual exploration and artistic expression.
